Our Davis Square mixed-media chukkas are designed to provide a comfortable wearing experience with lightweight OrthoLite footbeds on the inside, and a great look on the outside, thanks to the Defender Repellent Systems treatment that helps repel stains. These shoes are also produced with mindfulness, using responsibly sourced leather and eco-conscious fabric.
The upper of the chukkas is made from a combination of materials. The leather component is a "Better Leather" from a tannery that has been rated silver by the Leather Working Group for its water, energy, and waste management practices. The canvas part is Cordura Ecomade, which has also been treated with the Defender Repellent Systems to enhance stain resistance.
The lining of the shoes is crafted from ReBOTL fabric, which contains at least 50% recycled plastic, contributing to the eco-friendly nature of the product. Underneath, the chukkas feature a durable rubber outsole.
